As an EC Compliance Facilitator, you will provide monitoring to ensure that all EC paperwork and processes are in compliance with local, state, and federal policies and laws.
How You Will Impact Education
Instruction/Education Responsibilities
- Develop and monitor a master spreadsheet to ensure evaluation/annual review timelines
- Assist with ECATS/ENRICH use and training
- Ensure IEP Files are maintained and meet compliance guidelines
- Assist with data collection tasks as assigned
- Collaborate with EC Teachers/Case managers regarding compliance standards
- Collaborate with EC Lead Teacher regarding compliance standards
- Monitor the completion of compliant paperwork
- Assist with headcount
- Collaborate with school staff and Special Programs Coordinator to develop compliance procedures to align with federal and state EC policies.
- Provide instructional, compliance, and educational testing professional development
- Establish a system for monitoring IEP team meetings
- Assist schools, when possible, to address referrals to EC
- Assist with monitoring implementation of EC and related services
- Establish and maintain relationships and collaborate with appropriate school administration, faculty, and staff.
- Maintain collaborative relationships with CSUSA Carolinas State Team.
- Travel to assigned CSUSA Carolinas school sites.

- Demonstrates proficient experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Student Information System (SIS) and email communications.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (BA) from an accredited college or university or equivalent.
- State Certified in Special Education as well as Highly Qualified (HQ) status in the subject areas and grades assigned.
- Certified in at least two areas of Exceptional Education, preferred.
- Successful results of criminal and employment background check.
- Command of grades/subject specific content and theoretical knowledge of learning theory, including motivation, reinforcement, evaluation and feedback techniques.
- Minimum of three (3) years successful teaching experience.
- Effective instructional delivery techniques and excellent communication skills.
- Adherence to the requirements of the Code of Ethics for the Education Profession.
- Such alternatives to the above requirements as CSUSA may find appropriate and acceptable.
- May perform other duties assigned.
