- Job Details
- The right candidate will have 2+ years of current tele experience (including Neuro experience) and hold an active BLS, ACLS and AZ license or compact.
- Travelers must pass a dysrhythmia exam upon offer with 2 max attempts.
- There is also a pass/fail Sim Lab on Day 1 of orientation (study guides will be provided with the first day instructions).
- COVID vaccine is required or declination form with appropriate documentation AND hospital approval.
- Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience - must be recent, within the past 6 months.
- COVID vaccine is required, or religious or medical declination form (with appropriate documentation).
- Pass a dysrhythmia exam within 48 hours of receiving offer, through RELIAS, only (with 2 MAX attempts).
- There will be a Pass/Fail exam on day 1 of orientation, with an emphasis on sterile field. Study materials will be provided with first day instructions, so please make sure travelers are up to date on proper sterile techniques.
- Schedule Information
- Shifts: 12 hr shifts. 7-7.
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend.
- First to float, could float to sister facility, Mercy Gilbert

- Ratios: 1:3-4
- Charge Nurse: Yes, no patient assignment. Also have a Clinical Supervisor in a management role.
- Common diagnosis / Types of patients: Neuro post surgical, post cranis, spine, CVAs post TPA.

- Centralized tele. RNs must be able to interpret EKGs.
- No ventilators.
- Hospitalist rounds during the day and on call at night.
- No IV Team
- Respiratory Therapy (RT) available 24/7
- Pharmacy available 24/7
- Floor-specific orientation: 2 days on the floor.
