• **Travelers will need to pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to start (WITH 2 MAX ATTEMPTS), within 48 hours of offer
• **There is also a pass/fail Sim Lab on day one of orientation (study guides will be provided with first day instructions
• **MUST BE ABLE TO READ STRIPS

Schedule Information
• Shifts: 12 hrs. 7-7
• Weekend Requirement: 4 weekend shifts per 4 week period (days - Sat, Sun, nights - Fri, Sat), One major and minor holiday

Unit Specific Information
• Charge Nurse: Yes, does not take patients. Also has Unit Supervisor
• Nurse Aides: PCTS on days. 1 PCT or SWAT RN at night to task
• Vents: NA
• Hospitalist or Intensivist in house: Must call Physician
• IV Team: No. House SWAT Nurse available for hard IV sticks
• RT 24/7: Yes
• Pharmacy 24/7: Yes, ICU Pharmacist covers on days

• Common diagnosis / Types of patients: General MedSurg patients that require tele. Amio, Cardizem to titrate down only
• Additional Notes: Spectralink phones (call light attached to phone). Is the "new grad training unit", all new grads train with a "clinical scholar" for 4 weeks. Each week patient load increases to 1:4 final week
• First to float, could float to sister facility, Mercy Gilbert
