- Job Details
- The right candidate MUST HAVE A FULL 2 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE and hold an active BLS, ACLS, ATCN or TNCC, and AZ license or compact license.
- Travelers may float to the sister facility Mercy Gilbert, as needed.
- Must pass a dysrhythmia exam upon acceptance (2 MAX ATTEMPTS) and there is also a PASS/FAIL Sim Lab on day 1 of orientation (study guides will be provided with first day instructions).
- COVID vaccine is required or declination form with supporting documentation.
- Job Requirements
- 2 YEARS MINIMUM ER/TRAUMA LEVEL 1 EXPERIENCE REQUIRED - MUST BE RECENT WITHIN THE PAST 6 MONTHS
- Must be flexible to work ALL shifts listed - this is mandatory, no exceptions
- Travelers will need to pass a dysrhythmia exam within 48 hours of receiving offer, through RELIAS, only (with 2 MAX attempts).
- PASS/FAIL Sim Lab on day 1 of orientation.

- Schedule Information
- Start times vary depending on shift (traveler needs to be flexible)
- Day/Mid shift: 7a-7p, 9a-9p, 10a-10p, 11a-11p, 12p-12a, 1p-1a
- Night Shift: 3p-3a, 5p-5a, 7p-7a
- Travelers must do 2 of 3 holidays during the holiday season
- Varying start times: 3p, 5p, 7p
- Minimum 4 weekend shifts per schedule period

- ER unit details
- 60 beds; 14 are fast track beds with Bedside Triage
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ATCN or TNCC, PALS or ENPC
- Ratios: 1:3-4 for nurse to patient care
- Charge Nurse and Unit Secretary on staff
- Nurse Aides: Paramedics and CNAs
- Minimum 4 weekend shifts per schedule period
- Scrubs Color: Navy
- Equipment: GE Lifepacks monitors, Puritan Benette 840, Dreager, Vision Bipap, V60s
- House coverage: Hospitalist or Intensivist on site
- IV Team: Paramedics can start IV's
- Respiratory Therapist available 24/7
- Pharmacy: ER Pharmacist available on days, 5 days/week
- Shifts: Days, Mids, and Nights with 12 hr shifts
- Floating: Float between Gilbert and Chandler ER
- Floor specific orientation: 2-3 days on floor
- Types of patients: Trauma, MVAs, GSW, blunt trauma, piercing trauma, CVA (Stroke center), MI (CP center), high risk OB, Psych holds, cardioversions, conscious sedation for closed fractures
- Peds population: 11%, only admit 15 or >, any younger than 15 are stabilized and transferred
