Inside Sales & Customer Service Representative
This position will be responsible for managing customer relationships, providing product information, resolving inquiries, and identifying new business opportunities. This role combines elements of sales, customer service, and account management to ensure a seamless customer experience and drive business growth.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Confer with customers by telephone, email, or in person to provide information about products and services.- Develop weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports to show high and low usage on parts for customers.
- Identify new opportunities for revenue and improved service.
- Take details of customer complaints and/or requests and work to resolve them in a timely manner with the goal of maintaining customer satisfaction.
- Keep records of customer interactions and transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, and comments as well as actions taken.
- Contact regular and prospective customers to demonstrate products, explain product features, and solicit orders.
- Monitor market conditions and competitors' products, prices, and sales to develop strategies to grow sales.
- Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements to promote the sale of company products and provide sales support.
- Responsible for working with Accounting, Sales, and Production to provide customer quotes, warranties, contract terms, and delivery dates.
- Update customer account information.
- Help identify Non-Conforming parts and disposition into inventory.
- Follow approved work instructions and support Sales Manager in growing accounts, tracking efficiencies, and keeping resolution time to a minimum.
- Perform other incidental and related duties as required and assigned.

Essential Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor's degree or higher in Sales and Marketing, Business, or a related field is preferred.- 3 years of previous sales experience.
- 3 years of successful customer relations experience.
- Sales experience in automotive or industrial sectors is preferred.
- Excellent oral and written communication, presentation, and analytical skills.
- Time management, attention to detail, ability to multi-task and prioritize.
- Solid computer proficiency with an in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office & Windows-based programs. Proficient in PowerPoint, spreadsheets, and e-mail.
- Being a self-starter, with the ability to work independently and meet goals.
- Must be able to build a team and relationships with fellow employees and potential and current customers.
- Being open to change and utilizing effective change management techniques.
- Must be extremely reliable, responsible, dependable to fulfill obligations.
- Must have a valid driver's license and be able to travel when required.
- Adapts quickly to changing environments.
