Catholic Health is currently seeking a Board-Certified Director, Breast Surgical Services to join our rapidly growing, successful Women's Health and Surgery Service Lines. The successful candidate will be joining our outpatient team, located at St. Francis Hospital in Roslyn, NY.

The Director, Breast Surgical Services will provide a leadership role for St. Francis Cancer Institute. Responsibilities include the ability to maintain and moderate a multi-disciplinary Breast Conference under the auspices of the Cancer Institute, which would involve discussion of prospective cases and review of practice changing literature. Additional responsibilities include the ability to lead the development of a multi-disciplinary, comprehensive breast center clinic where patients see surgical, medical, and radiation oncology physicians and present a compressive care plan to the patient.
The Director, Breast Surgical Services will be an active and leading clinical member of the breast cancer surgery team, responsible for the facilitation of the growth of the Breast Program via community outreach to primary care physicians, radiologists and other specialists, Hospital staff and patients within the communities served by the Hospital. Provide lectures and education to members of civic centers, commercial facilities, religious institutions and other entities, from time to time, where community members congregate. Our breast surgery teams provide the entire continuum of care to our patients and utilize all of the latest technology, which include needle localizations, ultrasound, stereotactic biopsies, genetic testing, Lymphedema prevention and management.
Salary Range: $351,941-524,300K
This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate's education, training, skills, licensure and certification, competencies and other relevant experience. The salary range listed does not include any bonuses, incentive pay, or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
Requirements:
- Fellowship Required
- Board-Certified in General Surgery
- Valid Medical License, DEA
- Must have 3+ years of Breast Surgery experience
The Cancer Institute at St. Francis Hospital Breast Cancer Program is actively seeking the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC) accreditation.
