- Job Details
- The CT Technologist is a graduate of an accredited AMA school and registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT).
- The CT Technologist is licensed by the state as a general radiographer and is responsible for providing timely diagnostic services to both inpatient and outpatients under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols.
- Responsibilities include the performance of basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging services.
- The CT Technologist demonstrates proficiency at routine diagnostic CT Scanning procedures including CT of head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis extremities, and biopsy/drainage procedures.
- The position involves knowledge of processing of CT system, surgical/sterile procedure studies with or without contrast media, and cross-sectional anatomy.
- Tech preferred CT trained but if not, will provide training.
- The position is for CT and Radiology; performing x-ray is necessary and be willing to cover call if needed and cover in OR if needed.

- Graduate of an accredited AMA school.
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT).
- Licensed by the state as a general radiographer.
- Must be competent in both CT and X-ray.
- Experience in the OR and working C-Arms is required.
- Only specific requirements are Certified by ARRT and Licensed in New Mexico.
- Schedule Information
- Shift is Monday through Friday (7:30a - 4:00p) shifts.
- There will be one week (7 days) of call, every six weeks.
- 36-Hour Guarantee.
