Position Details:
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm; 1 to 2 surgical days per week, with the remaining days in the office.
- Responsibilities: Provide high-quality care through office visits, outpatient consultations, and surgeries at the Mercy Health Defiance location. Participate in call coverage with the Toledo Orthopedic call group and provide consults at Mercy Health Defiance Hospital.
- Practice Support: Work with a dedicated team including LPNs and RNs. Access to onsite radiology and lab services.
- Ancillary Services: Benefit from comprehensive support including radiology, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech pathology, and social work.
- Services: Benefit from a comprehensive range of services offered within our system, including primary care, surgery, cardiology, OB/GYN, orthopedics, podiatry, wound care, neurology, oncology, pain management, diabetes education, behavioral health, and pulmonology.
- Board-Certified: Must hold board certification in orthopedic surgery.
- Residency Training: Completed an accredited orthopedic residency program.
- Surgical Proficiency: Skilled in a wide range of orthopedic procedures.
- Strong Communication: Effective in communicating with patients and team members.
- Leadership and Teamwork: Experience in collaborative, team-based environments.
