We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Customer Stories Manager to join our Customer Advocacy & Engagement team. As the Customer Stories Program Manager, you will be responsible for managing all customer case studies and videos, showcasing the success stories of our clients and highlighting the impact of BMC Software's solutions.
Here is how, through this exciting role, YOU will contribute to BMC's and your own success:
  • Develop and Manage Customer Stories: Oversee the creation and publication of customer case studies and videos, ensuring they align with BMC's brand voice and messaging.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with solutions marketing, sales, customer success, professional services, and the BMC Collective to source and develop compelling customer stories.
  • Project Management: Coordinate all aspects of the customer story production process, including project management, meetings, asset approvals, and publication.
  • Content Review and Approval: Ensure all content is accurate, engaging, and reflects the customer's experience with BMC's products and solutions.
  • Interview and Storytelling: Conduct interviews with customers to capture their stories, and craft narratives that resonate with potential customers and stakeholders and put the spotlight on the customer and their accomplishments.
  • Performance Metrics: Track and report on the performance of customer stories, including engagement rates, reference requests, and other relevant KPIs.
To ensure you are set up for success, you will bring the following skillset & experience:
  • You hold a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or a related field.
  • You have 8+ years of experience in marketing, communications, or a related field, with a focus on customer advocacy and storytelling within an enterprise technology organization.
  • You have strong project management and vendor management skills, excellent written and verbal communication, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • You have a knack for storytelling and the ability to create engaging and impactful content.
  • You have experience with video production, running video shoots, and the ability to create compelling stories from interviews with customers and stakeholders. 
  • Experience with content management systems, and marketing automation tools; Asana and Optimizely are a plus.

The annual base salary range represents the low and high end of the BMC salary range for this position. Actual salaries depend on a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training, licensure, and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. 

The range listed is just one component of BMC's employee compensation package. Other rewards may include a variable plan and country specific benefits.

At BMC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at /near the top of the range. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $144,900 - $241,500
