The Basics

Location: Statesville, NC

Compensation: $19/hr and up

Days/Hours: This will be a 2nd shift job, usually 2pm to 10pm, with some OT and occasional weekend hours.

Equipment Used: Various lab equipment

Material Handled: Wheat, flour and middlings

What you'll be doing:

The duties of this hands-on job will include performing and recording lab tests on flour samples according to company policy and standard laboratory practices, as well as maintaining a clean laboratory and keeping supplies in stock by conducting inventories and placing orders as needed.

Requirements to be successful in this position:

• High school diploma or GED
• Reliable transportation
• Available to work overtime and weekends
• For safety reasons, must be able to read, write, understand and follow written and/or verbal instructions in English
• Professional demeanor (safety conscious, quality of job performance, cleanliness, and verbal communications)
• Able to pass a criminal background check
