Description
The Department of Orthopedics at Banner Health and Banner Medical Group (BMG) is seeking a highly motivated Physician Assistant to join our team of Orthopedic Surgeons in Payson, AZ.This is arobust and busy practice providing care to a varied group of patients with general orthopedic and total joint surgical needs. Our PA will round on patients on the hospital floor; see patients in the orthopedic surgery clinic and provide surgical first-assist in the OR. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, a critical thinker, with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work effectively within a team.
We are seeking applicants with:
- Graduate of an approved Physician Assistant Program
- Certification from The National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
- Must have an unrestricted PA license in the state of AZ or eligibility to obtain by hire date
- DEA with full prescriptive authority required
- BLS and ACLS Certification required
- 1 - 3 years experience in a professional Physician Assistant role (Orthopedic/Surgical skill is a plus)
Practice Details:
- Full-time | M-F, 8 AM - 5 PM
- Provide clinic-based procedures and OR coverage
- PA will have a patient panel of new and existing patients
- Supportive and comprehensive team consisting of 2 physicians, 2 APPs, 4 MAs and a rad. tech.
- On-site Radiology
- Call: Practice Call only no Hospital Call
