The Division of Pediatric Critical Care Medicine is recruiting a 10th colleague to provide critical care services in the Children's Hospital of Georgia (CHOG). Currently, we provide 24-hour per day coverage for the CHOG's 14-bed PEDS ICU and 6 bed Intermediate Care Unit. We also cover a growing CVICU service, run a sedation service, and give medical direction for the Pediatric Transport Team. The critical care faculty is responsible for medical education at all levels of the Medical College of Georgia, and there are multiple opportunities to teach the next generation of health care professionals.

Augusta supports an active arts community with touring companies of Broadway productions, a regional ballet company, and a professional symphony orchestra. The cost of living is below the national average, yet the quality of life ranks well above that same national average.
