Certification Details
• WI RN License required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Must be able to pass the EKG test in the 1st week of hire

Job Details
• Registered Nurse position available in Cardiac Progressive Care/Telemetry unit
• Contract length of 13 weeks
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week
• Opportunity in a high patient turnover environment - 44 Bed Intermediate cardiac stepdown
• Roles include Post op CABG/Valve, thoracotomy, Vascular, Arrhythmia, CHF, Post procedure cath, pacer, defib, ablations, Acute CP/MI, med/surg overflow
• Fast paced work setting with patient ratio typically 1:4

Job Requirements
• 2 years of IMC/PCU/Tele experience required
• 1 YEAR STRONG CARDIAC EXPERIENCE (Cardiac SDU/Intermediate Cardiac/Cardiac ICU) required
• Experience with Amiodarone, Cardizem, and Nitro Drips necessary
• At least one completed travel assignment required
• 1 year recent EPIC charting experience mandatory

Schedule Information
• Shifts are 12 hours Days from 0700 to 1930
• Every other weekend work required
• Every other holiday work required
• Able to float to all inpatient units as needed
• Option to take call if desired

Unit Specific Information
• Patient ratio typically 1:4
• Unit handles a variety of cardiac conditions and surgeries

• Contractors must be outside a 50-mile radius of Aspirus Wausau
• Auto-Offer Unit available
• Candidates to be hardworking, resilient, manage change well and manage independently
