- Completion of certification exam for Surgical Technologist.
- Job Requirements
- 2+ years' experience required.
- Strong ortho and C-section surgical experience required.
- Maintain a sterile back table during cases.
- Must be able to hold retractors/cameras for long periods.
- Central supply and sterilization experience.
- Experience in ortho, general OB/GYN, podiatry, and urology.
- Colonoscopy and EGD experience.
- Accepting candidates willing/eager to learn if they do not possess skillset in all areas.
- Schedule Information
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours per Week: 40 hrs
- Shift Requirements: 4-10hr days. Variable start times, but normally 0700-1730.
- May have an earlier start time of 0630, or potentially later of 0800 or 0900 dependent on cases.
- On-call/Call-Back: 1-2x per week from end of shift to 0700 the next day.
- Occasional weekend call – Friday, Saturday, and Sunday through 0700 on Monday.
- Holiday call required.
- Unit Specific Information
- Unit Specific: 3 ORs and 1 endoscopy room.
- Required skills cover multiple surgical disciplines and a willingness to learn.
- Additional Details
- Radius Rule: Must live outside 50 miles from the facility.
- Scrub Colors: Provided.
- Hard worker, resilient, and manages change well.
- Social candidates preferred.
