Recruiter (Contract)

 

THE ROLE: 

As AMD continues to grow, our extraordinary Recruiting team is tasked to meet talent acquisition demands. In this role, you will fill highly sophisticated technical engineering roles across a business unit or a portfolio of business units.  

 

THE PERSON: 

As AMD's Senior Talent Advisor, you are passionate about recruiting. You take pride in being responsible for a full-cycle recruiting process, from workforce planning to offer acceptance and everything in between. You are a professional in all aspects of recruiting and drive business impact by hiring the right talent at the right time, while creating an incredible service experience for all involved.  

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Define the hiring need and agree on expectations with the Business and HR  

  • Deliver highly qualified candidates in a fast-paced technical environment  

  • Drive a positive experience for all candidates providing exceptional support and guidance  

  • Own partner relationships; meeting or exceeding hiring manager expectations  

  • Advocate for TA processes and procedures  

  • Exercise sound judgment across the entire recruiting process  

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: 
  • Knowledge of Semiconductor or High Technology industry is preferred  

  • Able to analyze resumes and resolve appropriate candidates to fill vacancies  

  • Demonstrated experience working with ATS and other recruiting tools  

  • Able to manage complex and confidential information in a matrixed environment  

  • Develop and execute strategy for identifying and delivering top talent  

  • Demonstrated ability to understand and communicate effectively on sophisticated technologies

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills  

  • Creativity and drive to succeed  

  • Outstanding problem-solving skills  

 

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS: 

HR or equivalent education preferred at bachelors' level.
