THE ROLE: We are seeking an experienced Executive Assistant with high energy, who excels in a rapidly changing business environment. In this position, you will collaborate with other executive assistants and engage with various levels of management, customers, and employees, providing support to our Corporate Vice President of Product, Software & Solutions Marketing in managing daily priorities. The work environment is fast-paced, dynamic, and collaborative. THE PERSON: The ideal candidate should have significant experience navigating a complex C-Suite environment and be comfortable interacting with employees at all levels. Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills, along with the ability to gather information and make independent decisions, are necessary for success. Proactivity and the ability to anticipate the executive's needs are essential when prioritizing time, schedules, inquiries, and information. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage the CVPs calendar and those of senior leaders on staff; prioritize and schedule appointments as necessary.
- Organize major internal meetings across multiple geographic sites, including catering, IT, logistics, etc.
- Support customer and field-facing meetings/events as required, including in remote locations.
- Arrange domestic and international travel schedules and reservations for the CVP and key staff members; prepare expense reports and ensure timely submission.
- Interface with executive management team members, customers, and other executive visitors.
- Ensure timely responses to IM/email inquiries and determine if executive action is required.
- Redirect inquiries and problems to appropriate staff members for response and resolution as necessary.
- Exercise judgment and initiative with a high degree of flexibility.
- Set up and maintain proprietary files and record retention schedules with a high degree of confidentiality when necessary.
- Order and maintain inventory of departmental supplies; coordinate necessary equipment or facilities repairs or changes.
- Support the department's financial processes, including contracts, creating purchase orders, payments, shipping, vendor relations, etc.
- Experience providing support to executive-level leaders in a sales/marketing organization
- Proven experience in providing executive administrative support at a senior level
- Strong organizational and communication skills; ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Proficiency in using various office automation tools and software, including Teams, Zoom, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, SharePoint, SAP, Concur
- Ability to collaborate with different levels of management, customers, and employees to exchange information and take appropriate action, and adaptability to change
- Strong multi-tasking skills, ability to manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously
- Demonstrated ability to exercise judgment and initiative with flexibility and responsiveness
At AMD, your base pay is one part of your total rewards package. Your base pay will depend on where your skills, qualifications, experience, and location fit into the hiring range for the position. You may be eligible for incentives based upon your role such as either an annual bonus or sales incentive.
