THE ROLE:

 

The Director of Channel Marketing for North America is a key leadership position within AMD's Regional Go-To-Market Team. Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Global Channel Marketing, this role is responsible for driving aggressive growth of AMD-based computing solutions across North America. The position involves close collaboration with worldwide marketing teams, regional sales organizations, and distribution partners to deliver impactful marketing strategies. With a strong focus on marketing automation, analytics, and leveraging North American market trends, this role ensures that AMD solutions are effectively positioned to capture market share and drive brand engagement. The Director oversees marketing initiatives across diverse segments, including computing, graphics, retail, distribution, OEM, and data centers, ensuring alignment with AMD's corporate objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead AMD North America (NA) Regional Marketing across computing and graphics segments.
  • Drive AMD-led NA marketing activities in the region, ensuring alignment with corporate priorities.
  • Lead partner marketing initiatives across retail, distribution, OEM, and data center segments.
  • Develop and execute integrated marketing and communication plans aligned with corporate marketing goals and regional sales objectives.
  • Ensure brand consistency by managing outbound messages in the North America region.
  • Manage global and regional campaigns to generate and nurture leads.
  • Track and measure content marketing performance using KPIs and marketing automation tools.
  • Drive activations to enhance AMD brand awareness and audience engagement, highlighting unique computing and graphics solutions.
  • Establish strategies, best practices, and marketing guidelines to achieve KPIs in North America.
  • Set growth and performance benchmarks, develop analytics dashboards, and maintain campaign performance reports.
  • Oversee and manage the North America Regional Marketing budget.

 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Proven track record as a technology marketing leader, particularly in North America.
  • Deep understanding of marketing automation platforms, analytics, and North American market trends.
  • Experience leading marketing initiatives across multiple segments, including computing, graphics, retail, and data center.
  • Strong ability to develop and execute strategic marketing plans that align with corporate and regional goals.

 

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field preferred.
