Position Overview: We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nurse Midwife to join our team. As a Certified Nurse Midwife, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive prenatal, childbirth, and postpartum care to women in Corcoran and the surrounding areas. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of mothers and families while working alongside a dedicated team of healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Provide personalized and evidence-based prenatal care to expectant mothers, including conducting routine check-ups, screenings, and assessments.
- Assist with labor and delivery, ensuring a safe and supportive birthing experience for mothers and their families.
- Provide education and support to expectant mothers and their families throughout the childbirth process, including childbirth preparation classes and breastfeeding support.
- Collaborate with obstetricians, pediatricians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for mothers and newborns.
- Provide postpartum care and support to new mothers, including physical and emotional assessments, breastfeeding assistance, and newborn care education.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain accurate patient records in accordance with regulatory standards.
