Description

Acadian Companies is seeking a qualified candidate for a full-time Staff Accountant position at our Kaliste Saloom location in Lafayette, LA.  The schedule is Monday – Friday.

Responsibilities consist of a variety of general accounting tasks that include:

  • cash management
  • bank reconciliation
  • journal entries
  • report preparation
  • month-end closing
  • audit preparation
  • tax preparation
  • fixed asset management

Qualified candidates will possess:

  • BS in Accounting
  • 5 to 7 years of accounting experience
  • excellent computer skills
  • mastery of MS Excel and Word
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • strong math skills
  • organization and attention to detail
  • outstanding interpersonal skills
