Job Summary
The Director of Project Management is responsible for leading and overseeing the organization's project management function, ensuring the successful execution of complex projects across departments. This role involves providing strategic direction, developing and implementing best practices, and driving continuous improvement in project delivery. The Director will drive special projects, collaborate with senior leadership, and manage cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and in alignment with organizational goals. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in project management methodologies, strong leadership skills, and a track record of delivering large-scale projects in dynamic environments.
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of special projects across multiple channels and initiatives, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, outlining key milestones, timelines, and resource requirements for all marketing activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including creative, content, digital, product, and sales teams, to ensure seamless execution and alignment of WorkCare's strategies.
- Oversee project budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources, managing expenses, and tracking spend to ensure projects stay within budget.
- Monitor and manage project timelines, identifying potential risks or roadblocks and proactively implementing solutions to keep projects on track.
- Ensure consistent communication with key stakeholders, providing regular status updates, tracking progress, and ensuring transparency throughout the project lifecycle.
- Performs additional duties and assumes other responsibilities as identified by the Senior Leadership.
Qualifications
- Education and Experience
- Bachelor's (or higher) degree in business administration, marketing, communications or another related field is required.
- Minimum (10) years of experience as a manager is required.
- PMP certification is required.

- A curiosity for product knowledge and to be perceived as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in current and new product offerings.

- Ability to identify, clarify and communicate the exact nature of internal/external customer's problem or request and make solution recommendations.
- Notice discrepancies and inconsistencies in available information and brings it to light.
- Proactively or by request, performs additional duties and assumes additional responsibilities for the optimum operation of WorkCare.
- Willing to work extended hours as needed
- Computer Skills
- Must be competent in the Windows operating system environment, Adobe Professional, Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and learn other software as needed.
- Physical Demands
- Requires sitting for long periods of time, working at a desk.
- Some bending and stretching could be required.
- Working under stress and use of computer/phone required.
- Manual dexterity required for use of computer keyboard.
- Occasionally may be required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel and/or crouch.
- May occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.
- Work Environment
- Mainly indoor, office environment conditions.
- Environment must be free from background noise and distraction, noise level is acceptable, temperature is controlled. At home set up must meet all Company IT, privacy and safety requirements.
Additional Job Information
The salary range for this position is $120,000-$140,000 per year. Final compensation offered to the final candidate within this range depends on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and qualifications.
