Description

Plan, conduct and direct a wide variety of experiments. Responsible for the
evaluation and interpretation of research data. Conduct experiments using
advanced equipment and applying complex techniques, methods and
procedures; plan and execute the details of experiments according to
research protocol.

Minimum Education and Experience

Ph.D in a related field.

Preferred Education and Experience

Doctoral degree in field directly related to research and a year DFT modeling
training. Must have experience in DFT and MD simulations and journal
publications using these modeling methods.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Candidate will work on:

  • DFT and atomistic simulation study of oxide semiconductor materials and ultra-wide band gap semiconductors.
  • Device materials modeling.
  • Atomistic simulations of oxide interface modeling.
  • DFT modeling study of amorphous materials.


Additional Information

In-person working at UTD office and labs.
