HR Business Partner Details

Essential Job Duties:

  • Works closely with department and leaders to address areas of opportunities as well as to support goals/strategies to facilitate maximum performance and potential of an identified area.
  • Builds trusting, respectful and professional relationships with partners, leaders, and co-workers.
  • Proactively identifies trends and potential issues.  Ensures solutions are effectively vetted and integrated to help drive and implement change management.
  • Uses data, statistics, interviews or assessments, and other tools developed to perform thorough, and effective root cause analysis related to cultural or operational performance improvement opportunities.
  • Utilizes skill set and expertise to innovate and recommend solutions that move the organization forward and honors the mission of Union Health.
  • Builds solution-oriented project or action plans that clearly identify needed actions, accountability, timelines for completion and measures of success.
  • Integrates policies, procedures, and HR expertise in advising and consulting others.
  • Leverages current and/or develops new resources to support co-workers and leaders in areas related (but not limited) to:
    • Retention & culture
    • Team building
    • Co-worker/leader development
    • Structure review & development
    • Change management
    • Communication
    • Employee Engagement
    • Performance Improvement
    • Performance Management

  • Facilitates and organizes efforts related to acquisitions, divestitures, and mergers. 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resource management or related field preferred. 
  • Minimum of 3 years of human resources experience.
  • Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee and union relations, diversity, performance management and federal and state employment laws.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) preferred.
