- A hospital in Idaho is in need of Telemetry RN's to work a 13 week travel assignment. The Tele nurses will be working 12 hour shifts, nights or days are available. The hospital is wanting someone to start ASAP.
- Job Requirements
- Must have 2 years experience as a Tele nurse.
- Must have cardiac drip experience.
- NIH stoke assessment experience, post cath recovery and chest tube experience.
- Schedule Information
- The Tele nurses will be working 12 hour shifts, nights or days are available.
- Shifts & Scheduling: 0700-1930 and 1900-0730.
- Weekend Requirements: Yes – travelers will fill in the needs.
- Holiday Requirements: Yes – travelers fill in needs.
- Floating Requirements: Will float to like units and Med/Surg at times.
- May also float to Boise Medical Center and Nampa Medical Center to like units and MedSurg if needed.
- May also float to ICU if experienced.
- Unit Specific Information
- Unit: Tele
- Nurse: Patient Ratios: 1:4
- Common diagnosis: CHF, NSTEMI, STEMI, Stroke, Sepsis, Diabetes, CAD, Renal Failure, Respiratory Failure, Pneumothorax, post cath lab patients.
- RNs required to read and interpret: Will read and document every 6 hours.
- Are there Nurse Aides on this unit/Ratios: Yes 1:8/9.
- RT/Equipment: CPAP, BiPAP, high flow- RT will manage.
- Additional Details
- Are RN's required to titrate drips: No.
- Are there Tele/Monitor Techs on this unit: Tele techs on floor until June, then they will centralize off site.
- Scrubs Color: Any as long as they are clean, well kept, and professional.
- Department Specific Orientation: System onboarding then 2 orientation shifts.
- This facility has a radius rule of 50 miles. To ensure adherence to this rule, we will not proceed with the profile review until we have confirmed that the candidate's permanent address is outside of that specified radius.
