SAIC is seeking a qualified Software Test Engineer for a FULLY REMOTE supporting a new US Coast Guard program, AFMS (Air Force Modeling & Simulation). AFMS is the premier agency responsible for implementation, integration, and development of Modeling and Simulation (M&S) and training and analysis standards that support the US Air Force (USAF), Department of Defense (DoD), and mission partners requiring these capabilities to support the Warfighter in full-spectrum operations.

Target salary is $125-135k.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Emphasis on knowledge of UI testing and test automation tools, including Playwrite.
• Work within an Agile Team to plan and develop automated test scripts to support the integration testing requirements of the teams you support.
• Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated scripts using the program's tools and frameworks to validate the integration and functional requirements of the system.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts to reduce repetitive manual testing.
• Experience in an agile testing environment including Test-Driven Development (TDD).
• Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
• Experience developing automated test scripts using Java or other programming languages.
• Develop and automate tests for software validation.
• Hands on with SQL Server/MySQL/MongoDB.
• Detect bug issues. Prepare file defect reports and report test progress.
• Experience with AWS Cloud Platform.
• Develop and create test cases and/or test cards.
• Create artifacts of test results and clear documentation of all executed test plans
• Work closely with software developers and software quality analysts to resolve issues.
• Experience working as part of a team, ideally using Agile methodologies.

Qualifications

• At the time of hire, possess DoD 8570 certification in IAT Level II certification or above (CompTIA Security+ CE, CASP+ CE, CISSP, etc.)
• Must be US Citizen and currently possess a Secret Clearance
• Agile / Scrum experience.
• Masters Degree and 10 yrs experience; Bachelors degree and 18 yrs experience or 22 yrs of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
• Familiarity with testing tools.
• Knowledge of diagramming software.
• Extensive knowledge of engineering and testing procedures.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• High-level technical writing skills.Cloud Experience (AWS preferred, Azure ok)

Target salary range: $80,001 - $120,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
