• Staffing ratio: 1:1-2.

Job Details
• AYA offer unit.
• Candidate risks losing the offer to the first candidate that signs if traveler does not sign in 24 hours.
• Manager will call candidate after signing contract. They will have 48 hours to reject candidate post interview.
• Candidate must have a minimum of 2 years experience and travel experience.
• Pass the clinical review to receive an auto offer.
• A compact license is accepted.
• Incumbent must indicate WA license status: Active, in Process, or no license.
• A former permanent employee of any Providence affiliated facility must be separated from the health system for a minimum of 3 months to qualify for a travel position.
• Swedish facilities honor active compact licenses.
• Option to flex less than 26 weeks.
• Will accept first-time travelers.
• Can submit with pending WA license.

Job Requirements
• Must have CVICU experience.
• Cardiac Surgical experience is REQUIRED.
• 4 days orientation.
• Validated skills for some competencies.

Unit Specific Information
• PATIENT DIAGNOSES include cardiovascular disease, pre/post Cath Lab and IR procedures, fresh open heart surgery.
• SPECIAL PROCEDURES: CABG, OHS, AAA, valvular repairs, IABP, Impella, VADs, pacemakers, epicardial pacer management, CRRT/Dialysis, hemodynamic monitoring, breathing treatments, chest tube set-up/care, CPAP/BiPap, trach care, vents, high-frequency vents, procedure sedation, RSI - rapid sequence intubation drugs, blood/blood products administration, cardioversion/defibrillation, cooling/warming, obtain 12 lead EKG.
• Unit has unseasoned staff, so strong travelers are needed.
