Certification Details
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• BLS and ACLS must be completed through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross.
• Traveler must provide or pass a Basic Cardiac Arrhythmia/Dysrhythmia Assessment (BCA) exam prior to or during first week of assignment.

Job Details
• 75 MILE STRAIGHT LINE RADIUS RULE (not driving distance) - NO LOCAL TRAVELERS - Please only submit candidates that are aware of their submission to our facility. Please do not allow candidates to contact facility.
• Please only submit candidates with an active NM or compact license.
• Note time off requests must be disclosed with initial submission to be considered for approval.
• Time off requested after the acceptance date will not be approved.
• 13 weeks assignment, 2 years experience current required in an 18 plus bed telemetry/progressive care unit required.
• Must be a team player, flexible and accustomed to fast paced environment.
• Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment.
• Traveler must not permanently reside within a 75 mile radius from facility.
• EPIC EMR experience preferred.
• Traveler must provide or pass a Basic Cardiac Arrhythmia/Dysrhythmia Assessment (BCA) exam prior to or during first week of assignment.
• Travelers that do not pass the BCA test will be dismissed.

Job Requirements
• 2 years experience current required in an 18 plus bed telemetry/progressive care unit.
• Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment.

Schedule Information
• 12 hour Night shift position-start time 1900.
• 3 Weekend shifts in a 4 week scheduling period.
• Shifts may fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs.
• On call, weekends and holidays may be required.
• Travelers are first to float within facility and to alternate locations.

Additional Details
• NO HOLIDAY RTO WILL BE APPROVED FOR TRAVELERS (updated 10.10.2024)
• Travelers must not have been an employee of the Presbyterian Healthcare Services system for 12 months from last day worked, in order to be considered for a travel position.
• Travelers are first to float within facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of permanent assigned location.
• State tax is passed through to your agency and will be reflected on your invoice. The state tax should be paid to the state of New Mexico.
