• A hospital in California is looking for an experienced Med/Surg Ortho RN for a travel assignment.
• The right candidate will have 2+ years of experience, hold an active BLS and CA license.

Job Requirements
• Must have 2-3 years of experience in specialty
• Active BLS and CA license required
• Travel experience needed
• Must be a team player

Schedule Information
• 12 hr shifts 6:45-7:15
• Weekend Requirement: 4 weekend shifts in a 4 week schedule
• Holidays: work into perm staff rotation
• Days, EOW, First to Float

• Unit: Medsurg Ortho
• 17 beds in unit
• Ratios: 1 to 5
• EMR: Cerner
• Charge Nurse: Clinical supervisor - no patient assignment, will do break relief
• Nurse Aides: 1 nurse aide for 8 hrs of day
• Scrub Color: navy
• Portable tele box if needed, monitor tech available, nurses must be able to read and interpret, will have to take dysrhythmia exam
• No ventilation patients
• Hospitalist on 24/7
• No IV Team
• RT 24/7: yes
• Pharmacy 24/7: yes
• Floating: to telemetry 1 to 4 ratio, could also float between med/surg floors
• Floor specific orientation: 1 shift of orientation to unit
• Common diagnosis / Types of patients: hips, knees, shoulders, spine, no drips
