- A hospital in California is looking for an experienced ER RN for a travel assignment.
- The right candidate will have 2+ years of experience, hold an active BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC preferred and CA license.
- Job Requirements
- Candidates must have 2 years experience in specialty, travel experience preferred.
- Trying to work on teamwork environment, want someone who can come in and lead that campaign and help to increase team effort in the ER.
- Candidates must have experience working in an ER that is high volume and high acuity.
- Schedule Information
- Shifts: 12 hr, days are 6a-6p, mids have varied starts between 9a-3p, nights have varied start times between 4p-7p, made out at least 2 weeks in advance, self scheduling to some degree, they try to work with travelers to give them a schedule they want.
- Weekend Requirement: every other.
- Holidays: work into perm staff rotation.
- Call: one day per month, if it is your call teams turn it could be 2 days per month, when call schedule comes out you have 3 days to sign up before you are just assigned to call.

- Floor specific orientation: 2-3 shifts
- Common diagnosis / Types of patients: 155 patients per day, trauma, stroke, peds, psych, etc.

- Additional Notes: Some travelers are able to take trauma patients depending on their experience, they do a lot of things according to seniority in unit, want candidates with level II trauma experience or above.
- Additional Details
- ACLS, BLS, COVID Vaccine Required (Certification), NIHSS, PALS.
- **Telemetry, L/D, Emergency and Critical Care RN's will take a proctored Dysrhythmia Test onsite, day one. This is a PASS/FAIL test!
