Job Summary:
The Diversion Specialist will be responsible for oversight of all reporting, auditing and investigational activities related to practices in the organization with Controlled Substance (CS) and other drugs with risk for diversion. This includes proactive monitoring activity of users who access/administer CS for patterns observed as well as to investigate in response to concerns reported or observed through reports in an effort to ensure compliance with policies for safe practice. The Diversion Specialist will lead the Diversion Response Team upon activation for the investigation of known or suspected diversion.

Job Essentials: The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements and competencies.

  • BSN required; certification preferred
  • Current RN License in State of NJ
  • A minimum of 3-5 years' acute care experience.
  • Preferred Epic & Omnicell experience
  • Strong organizational and analytic skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

 

Education Requirements: Bachelor of Nursing required.
