Description
The Department of Psychiatry is seeking an academic psychiatrist at the level of assistant or associate professor with a strong interest in developing a career in clinical, teaching, and research activities.

- Applicants must be license-eligible in New York State and be board certified in general psychiatry.
- Must work in tandem with program director to support and supervise the psychiatry training program.

Duties will include:
- Resident selection, orientation, evaluation, and remediation.
- Curriculum development and supervision of residents.
- Program evaluation, accreditation, and improvement.
- Resident education in the context of patient care, including didactics, and scholarly activities.
- Serve on department residency training committees.
- Provide clinical service, medical student teaching, advising, and research support.
